Belize is the hidden gem of Central America!
Belize
Day 1 :
  • Upon arrival at Belize International airport you will be met and escorted to your connecting flight to Hopkins. Here you will be greeted by hotel staff and taken to the hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink before you are shown to your room. Head out to the overwater Cabana and bar to have a drink and watch the sunset. Swing from the rope and have a swim.
Day 2 :
  • Indulge in a big breakfast and relax in the morning sun. Take a stroll through town on an electric bike, kayak or go for a sail on one of the Hobie cats. I think the staff here might actually be the happiest people on earth. They will make your stay an absolute pleasure. Also, you’ll have plenty of Iguana sightings as they roam around the property all day long. Have dinner at the beach restaurant to close out the evening.
Day 3 :
  • After breakfast maybe hop on a boat where you’ll spend the day at some of the best snorkeling spots in the world. And chances are you’ll see plenty of dolphins along the way. Back to the hotel in the late afternoon to relax before an amazing dinner.
Day 4 :
  • Sleep in and make your way to eat breakfast…or lunch. Go for a stroll on the beach, sit by the pool or get a spa treatment. There is plenty on nothingness to do and you’ll need the rest for the days ahead.
Day 5 :
  • After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy a last plunge and swim in the ocean before you’re driven to the jungle resort where you will be shown to your room. Eat at the restaurant, visit the gardens or sit by the pool. Take the rest of the day to relax.
Day 6 :
  • Wake up early and enjoy a farm to table breakfast, followed by a hike to the private on-site caves to learn about the ancient Mayan cultures of Belize. After lunch maybe some zip-lining or repelling. Spend the rest of the day at the pool or indulge yourself in a spa treatment.
Day 7 :
  • After breakfast tour the animal sanctuary on property. Then off property for the rest of the day to see the local waterfalls and caves on a kayaking tour.
Day 8 :
  • After breakfast you can venture off to the Mayan ruins with the optional stop to visit an orphanage to meet the children of Belize. We highly encourage this experience and found that it sheds light and perspective into some of the issues that the Belize people face. The experience for us was extremely uplifting and the kids were so wonderful. Spend the rest of the afternoon on property and enjoy the sunset from the outside deck of the restaurant as you enjoy dinner and wine.
Day 9 :
  • After a light breakfast you’ll experience an early morning horseback ride on the property. Sit by the pool until it’s time to leave for the airport.

Q: What is the best time of year to go?
A: Belize has two distinct wet and dry seasons. The dry season typically occurs December through May and the wet season June through November. In the tropics, rain can occur any time of year, but during the dry season rain falls in brief bursts.
Q: Is Belize safe?
A: Belize is a safe country. The big cities have crime like any other city but the resorts we work with are very safe.
Q: Do they speak good English in Belize?
A: Funny enough, English is their first language. Many people speak Spanish but English is the primary.
Q: Are mosquitos a problem?
A: There are mosquitos in the jungle areas. The hotels generally have a good supply of bug spray to offer but it might be good to bring some.
