A: The Happier Camper unit is a small camper with a queen bed and a heater unit. It can accommodate two people and includes access to the Clubhouse bathrooms, showers, and amenities. Q: What is there to do for kids?
A: There are tons of fun activities for kids to enjoy! If they prefer the outdoors, we would recommend Horse N Around for horseback riding (707-875-3333) or Johnson’s Beach to float or canoe in the River (707-869-2022). Pee Wee Golf & Arcade has miniature golf and games (707-869-9321). For indoor activities, we recommend ice skating at Snoopy’s Home Ice. The museum next door to the ice rink is the Charles M. Schulz Museum. Santa Rosa was home to the famous Peanuts cartoonist.

A: We sell food, snacks, apparel, beverages, beer, and wine in our shop. Snacks and food items include chips, cookies, charcuterie fixings, sweets, and more.
Q: How does cooking and dining work?
A: Part of the fun of visiting AutoCamp is cooking meals over a campfire. We make it easy by providing a variety of for sale food and beverage items in our Shop, as well as a fully-stocked set of cookware in each Suite. All Suites come with a fire pit with a grill. You are welcome to bring food with you to cook onsite or pick up items at our Shop. There are also grocery stores and restaurants options in the nearby town of Guerneville.
Do the tent's have bathrooms?
A: There are no bathrooms in the Luxury Tents. However, guests staying in Luxury Tents (or the Happier Camper at Russian River) have access to the mid-century modern clubhouse bathrooms, showers, and amenities including Ursa Major shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and hair dryers.
Q: Are pets welcome?
A: Yes! AutoCamp welcomes all well-behaved dogs with their owners for an additional fee of $75.00. There is a 2 dog maximum with a 80lb maximum weight each. Please note that not all accommodations are dog-friendly. Dogs must be kept on a maximum, 6-foot leash under owner supervision and may not be left unattended at any time. Guests are responsible to “clean up” after their dog. All dog waste must be properly disposed of in a dog receptacle. Noisy, vicious, or unruly dogs are not allowed. AutoCamp is not responsible for, and will hold dog owner accountable, for any injury or damage caused by your dog. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time in your accommodation. There are no exceptions to this rule. We offer doggie relief stations around the property. Pet Owners are required to bring their pets to one of these stations. All dog waste must be disposed of by the owner. There are trash cans located throughout the property for your convenience and dog waste bags are provided. Please do not let your dog urinate on the grass, as it kills the grass.
