Q: Is the surf break only for advanced surfers?

A: When the waves are big it would be more for experienced surfers and in those cases beginners and intermediates can surf the breaks closer to shore.

A: Yes, there is WIFI and cell service for most carriers.

Day 1 :

Arrival and Acclimatization Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport and transfer to Hotel Komune. Settle in, explore the resort, and take a leisurely walk along the beach. Evening yoga session (if available) or a relaxing dip in the pool.

Day 2 :

Keramas Beach Start your day with an early morning surf at Keramas, right in front of the hotel. Get familiar with the wave, its reefy bottom, and its sections. Evening: Enjoy a traditional Balinese massage at the hotel spa.

Day 3 :

Keramas Beach (Advanced Surfing) Try catching waves during different tides to understand how it affects the wave's behavior. Afternoon: Visit the nearby Bali Safari and Marine Park. Evening: Sunset surf.

Day 4 :

Canggu Surf Morning drive to Canggu. The waves here can be a little more forgiving than Keramas, with spots like Old Man’s and Batu Bolong being good for intermediates. Afternoon: Explore the cafes and boutiques in Canggu. Evening: Return to Hotel Komune.

Day 5 :

Rest and Explore Ubud Take a day off from surfing to rest your muscles. Head to Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali. Visit the Monkey Forest, Tegallalang Rice Terraces, and explore local art galleries. Evening: Return to Hotel Komune.

Day 6 :

Sanur Reef Head to Sanur, a reef break suitable for intermediates to advanced surfers. Afternoon: Explore the relaxed town of Sanur and its beachfront walkway. Evening: Return to Hotel Komune.

Day 7 :

Bukit Peninsula – Uluwatu Day trip to Uluwatu, a world-class wave with several sections. Explore the Uluwatu Temple. Evening: Watch the traditional Kecak Dance at Uluwatu.

Day 8 :

Padang Padang and Bingin Beach More surfing on the Bukit Peninsula. Both spots offer amazing waves, but be prepared for reef breaks. Evening: Chill at Single Fin Beach Club with sunset views.

Day 9 :

Leisure Day and Reflection Opt for a light morning surf at Keramas. Relax by the pool, enjoy a spa session, or explore other nearby attractions. Evening: Celebrate your trip with a dinner at Hotel Komune's beachside restaurant, reflecting on your surfing journey.

Day 10 :

Departure Depending on your flight time, enjoy one last surf at Keramas. Check out from Hotel Komune and head to the airport.

Hotel Komune is located right out the front of the world-famous Keramas surf break, home of the World Surf League Championship Tour event. A fast barrelling right-hand reef break Keramas is one of Bali’s most consistent waves holding from 2 ft fun playful waves right up to 10 ft stand up barrels for expert surfers. All the action goes down right in front of the Komune Beach Club. Hotel Komune is conveniently located close to some of the best Bali surf breaks.
