DAY 1

Day 1 :

Upon arrival at Belize City International airport, you’ll make your way to your next short flight to Placencia. From there you will be taken to the resort. Enjoy a welcome drink and speedy check-in before being given a quick tour and shown to your room. This is one of the three properties that film director Francis Ford Coppola owns in Belize. they spared no expense in making the entire experience world-class. Relax at the oceanfront bar for the rest of the day or take a dip in the clear blue sea.

DAY 2

Day 2 :

Indulge in a big breakfast and soak up the morning sun. Take the day to relax and explore the property. Enjoy the spacious and beautifully designed rooms and maybe get a massage. Make friends with their adopted dog Chip who roams the property searching for love and affection. Get dressed up for dinner and enjoy some of the world-famous Coppola wines that they’ve imported from their Northern California wineries.

DAY 3

Day 3 :

After breakfast, you can hop onto one of their many boats from their private docks and spend the day at some of the best snorkeling spots in the world where you’ll see turtles, nurse sharks, dolphins, and a plethora of colorful fish. Back to the resort in the late afternoon to relax before more wine and dinner at their high-end beach restaurant.

Day 4 :

Today, and any day actually you’ll take your breakfast in your room. Have a car take you into town for some local shopping and food. Meet the beautiful and friendly locals of Belize. Maybe head out onto the boat again for some fishing, scuba diving, or explore some of the small deserted islands. Eat dinner at the oceanfront bar and try their pizza. It’s amazing and probably the best in all of Belize.

Take your time getting up, eat breakfast and sit by the pool until it’s time to leave for the airport.

Q: What is the best time of year to go?

A: Belize has two distinct wet and dry seasons. The dry season typically occurs December through May and the wet season June through November. In the tropics, rain can occur any time of year, but during the dry season rain falls in brief bursts.

Q: Is Belize safe?

A: Belize is a safe country. The big cities have crime like any other city but the resorts we work with are very safe.

Q: Do they speak good English in Belize?

A: Funny enough, English is their first language. Many people speak Spanish but English is the primary.

Q: Are mosquitos a problem?

A: There are mosquitos in the jungle areas. The hotels generally have a good supply of bug spray to offer but it might be good to bring some.

Zip Lining

Bocawina Adventures boasts the longest zip-line in Belize and is the hotspot for waterfall rappelling. We offer day or night zip-lining with 12 platforms, and one of the longest zip-line runs is 2,300 feet long!

Spa

Set in an open-air Balinese Rice House featuring hand-painted murals inspired by ancient art, the Sunset Spa relaxes those who’ve spent a full day touring, swimming, snorkeling, and diving. All treatments use locally-sourced organic ingredients. At the request of the Coppolas, our Belize spa hideaway specializes in traditional Thai massage, practiced by a professional staff that has studied these ancient techniques at the Sacred Wat Pho Temple in Bangkok.

Horseback Riding

We invite you to discover the surroundings while horseback riding at Blancaneaux Lodge. Our on-site stables are fun to visit and even more memorable is venturing out on a horseback ride. Tours are ideal for all riders, regardless of skill level.

Guided Mountain Biking

There’s no better way to explore the diverse ecosystems of the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve than a bike tour. Guided bike trips will take you on scenic routes and trails around the Reserve. Check with the Concierge to discuss departure times, difficulty, terrain, and desired length of trip.
