Watch the drama of nature play out before your eyes on game drives or thrilling canoeing safaris.
Day 2 :
  • Nyamatusi Camp is our flagship in terms of its Eco-conscious style. Our Mana Pools safari lodge is set in one of the wildest and most remote parts of Africa, on the banks of the Zambezi, one of the world’s oldest rivers. Embracing comfort, this property embodies sustainable design. Fully solar-powered and built from all-natural materials it encompasses its wilderness location in the most elegant way. Here, your Mana Pools safari plays out against a sweeping riverine landscape, where epic encounters of the giants that roam this land await.
Day 3 :
  • Nyamatusi Camp, lightly translated, means ‘wild game’. Here, you spend your days walking in the footsteps of ancient explorers and tracks of elephants that criss-cross the floodplain. Watch the drama of nature play out before your eyes on game drives or thrilling canoeing safaris. Fishing on the Zambezi River (catch and release only) and birding safaris are highlights here. All these activities are included in your stay and led by qualified and passionate guides, keen to share their knowledge and love of the bush with you. Children over the age of 12 are welcome at Nyamatusi Camp. Due to the adventurous nature of this Mana Pools safari, walking safaris and canoeing are only possible for children over the age of sixteen years.
Day 4 :
  • Continue your safari with 3 nights at our Bumi Hills Safari Lodge overlooking the world’s largest man-made Lake Kariba and enjoy the view from our luxurious rim-flow pool. Spend your days on game drives or in the spa, and enjoy sunset dining on the shoreline of Lake Kariba.
Day 5 :
  • Set on a range of remote hills in one of Zimbabwe’s finest wilderness locations, Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is utterly captivating. With the Zambezi escarpment as its backdrop, this haven of serenity overlooks the eternal shimmering waters of Lake Kariba below. Not only is Kariba’s shoreline wildlife-rich, but the lodge’s proximity to Matusadona allows for the wildlife to freely move between the national park and Bumi Hill’s private concession, creating endless game-viewing opportunities, led by our passionate team of guides.
Day 6 :
  • Lake Kariba lodge offers the lake as your playground. Spend your days cruising on the water or meandering the surrounds on a walking safari; discover the ancient secrets within the fossilised dinosaur footprints unique to this area. Activities include guided walking safaris, stargazing, boating, birding, catch-and-release fishing, day and night game drives searching for lions in particular, as well as engaging cultural visits to our nearby local community.
