Itinerary

DAY 1
Day 1 :
  • Arrival at Sungani Lodge Upon arrival in Zambia, transfer to Sungani Lodge in South Luangwa National Park. Settle into your accommodations surrounded by indigenous trees on the edge of a vast lagoon. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and take in the natural beauty of your surroundings. In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner at the lodge and relax after your journey.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
  • Morning Game Drive Wake up early for an exhilarating morning game drive in South Luangwa National Park. Led by experienced guides, explore the park's diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Return to Sungani Lodge for a hearty breakfast and spend the rest of the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, embark on a walking safari to further immerse yourself in the park's ecosystem and learn about its flora and fauna.

Day 3 :
  • Birdwatching and Cultural Experience Start your day with a leisurely birdwatching excursion around the lagoon area near Sungani Lodge. Spot various bird species and appreciate their colorful plumage and unique calls. Later in the day, opt for a cultural experience to visit a nearby village and interact with the local community. Gain insight into their traditions, customs, and way of life.

Day 4 :
  • Transfer to Lolebezi Resort After breakfast at Sungani Lodge, transfer to Lolebezi Resort, renowned for its leopard population and immersive on-foot experiences. Upon arrival, check-in to your accommodation and savor a delicious lunch at the resort. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the river or exploring the resort's surroundings at your own pace.

Day 5 :
  • Tracking Leopards Embark on a thrilling leopard tracking excursion guided by experienced trackers. Follow their expert lead as you navigate through the bushveld in search of these elusive big cats. Learn about leopard behavior, ecology, and conservation efforts aimed at protecting them in their natural habitat. Return to Lolebezi Resort for dinner and unwind after an exciting day.
DAY 6
Day 6 :
  • Elephant Encounter Today, embark on a unique elephant encounter experience at Lolebezi Resort. Accompanied by knowledgeable guides, observe elephant herds up close and learn about their behavior, social structure, and conservation status. Marvel at these majestic creatures as they roam freely in their natural environment. Afterward, enjoy leisure time to relax and reflect on your wildlife encounters.

Day 7 :
  • Transfer to Thorntree River Lodge Bid farewell to Lolebezi Resort and transfer to Thorntree River Lodge, located on the banks of the Zambezi River in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Check-in to your luxurious accommodation and enjoy lunch overlooking the river. Spend the afternoon at leisure, perhaps indulging in a spa treatment or simply unwinding by the water's edge.
