Our Magic of Three Countries safari package is the African Bush Camps Travellers’ Choice Safari! You’ll get to experience 9-nights across our heartlands in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia. This includes our signature camps, Linyanti and Nyamatusi camp, and one of our most popular icon camps, Thorntree River Lodge. We’ve curated this safari for you to experience the best that Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe have to offer. It is the ideal choice for both the traveler in search of adventure and the traveler looking to escape bustling city life.

Itinerary

DAY 1
Day 1 :
  • Start off the trip in Botswana at Linyanti Bush Camp, located within a private concession, offering an intimate, authentic safari experience. Because of its proximity to the iconic Chobe National Park.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
  • Spend your time exploring the raw African wilderness on thrilling game drives, learn about the fascinating fauna and flora on walking safaris or float serenely along the waterways in a mokoro (canoe). A life-changing wilderness experience awaits you at Linyanti Bush Camp.
DAY 3
Day 3 :
  • The Chobe Enclave teems with wildlife and is best known for its large herds of elephants and buffalo. Our Chobe safari lodge sits on the banks of the Linyanti Wetlands – a significant area that is one of the primary sources of water during the drier months. Look forward to exceptional and diverse wildlife encounters year-round.
DAY 4
Day 4 :
  • Hop over from Botswana to Zambia and stay at our wildly luxurious icon camp, Thorntree River Lodge, described by guests as the “perfect respite in the heart of the African wilderness.”
DAY 5
Day 5 :
  • Beautifully designed Thorntree River Lodge graces the banks of Zambia’s glorious Zambezi River in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Find perfect respite after a day of activities by relaxing in the infinity pool that seamlessly blends into the river horizon. Thorntree River Lodge celebrates the spirit of community. After a refreshing sundowner drink while watching an exquisite African sunset, spend your evening sharing stories of your safari around the fire from within the comfort of the sunken boma before enjoying our African inspired fine-dining experience.
DAY 6
Day 6 :
  • Thorntree River Lodge offers a tranquil base from which to explore a plethora of awe-inspiring activities, all within easy access of our lodge in Livingstone Zambia. Showcasing incredible river panoramas from its unique vantage, the shared areas are fluid hubs of relaxation; the lounge flows seamlessly into the dining area, and the library hosts WIFI connectivity. The communal deck is set on the edge of the stunning riverside and is home to a sunken boma area and an infinity pool. There is also a gym and spa which promote a sense of holistic well being at Thorntree River Lodge.

Day 7 :
  • End off your African safari in Mana Pools, Zimbabwe at Nyamatusi Mahogany, which is set on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.
DAY 8
Day 8 :
  • Nyamatusi is an explorer’s paradise and well-tailored to the needs of the whole family. Here, you will be able to experience a diversity of wildlife from the Zambezi River and the wild African bush around this camp. In case you were looking for a sustainable African safari experience, Nyamatusi is solar-powered and consciously built from natural materials.
DAY 9
Day 9 :
  • Nyamatusi Camp, lightly translated, means ‘wild game’. Here, you spend your days walking in the footsteps of ancient explorers and tracks of elephants that criss-cross the floodplain. Watch the drama of nature play out before your eyes on game drives or thrilling canoeing safaris. Fishing on the Zambezi River (catch and release only) and birding safaris are highlights here. All these activities are included in your stay and led by qualified and passionate guides, keen to share their knowledge and love of the bush with you. Children over the age of 12 are welcome at Nyamatusi Camp. Due to the adventurous nature of this Mana Pools safari, walking safaris and canoeing are only possible for children over the age of sixteen years.
