Here’s your chance to experience 6-nights in the African wilderness in Botswana. Our Authentic Botswana safari combines a stay at our Linyanti expedition and Khwai Lediba signature camp. You get the best of both worlds, while being fully-immersed in the beauty of the wild African bush. Embarking on a Botswana safari with African Bush Camps promises a truly remarkable experience. Nestled in some of the most pristine and secluded regions of the country, these camps offer guests an intimate and unforgettable encounter with Botswana’s wildlife.

Itinerary

DAY 1
Day 1 :
  • Begin at Linyanti Expeditions, situated on the vast expanses along the banks of the Linyanti Marsh, the perfect place to explore the African wilderness.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
  • Linyanti Wilderness Reserve is a private concession boasting splendid scenery of untouched grasslands, riverine forest and meandering lagoons. The true art of safari is waking up with the crisp dawn air to the sound of birds rejoicing. Enjoying a warm cup of coffee, anticipating what the day has to offer. It’s heading out into the wild, open plains on foot in search of new ground and thrilling interactions.
DAY 3
Day 3 :
  • The location of our Linyanti safari lodge in the northern region of Botswana enjoys an abundance of wildlife. The area is frequented by vast herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra that attract iconic predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dogs. The peaceful African night is often punctuated by the lion’s gruff, baritone contact call, wild dogs yipping or hyenas whooping in celebration of meal or morsel. Activities to enjoy on your Linyanti safari include walking safaris, river activities such as mokoro trips, day and night game drives. Linyanti Expeditions offers awe-inspiring birding with Carmine bee-eaters nest on the banks of the Linyanti River.
DAY 4
Day 4 :
  • End off at Khwai Lediba, a luxury tented safari camp located along the banks of the Khwai River in the Khwai Concession of Botswana. The combination of these two camps provide access to some of the most diverse and spectacular ecosystems in Africa.
DAY 5
Day 5 :
  • Indulge in a breathtaking African safari experience at Khwai Lediba, where you’ll witness the incredible wildlife of Moremi National Park, the oldest protected section of the Okavango Delta. Imagine spotting lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes roaming free in their natural habitat, all while immersed in the beauty of the African wilderness.
DAY 6
Day 6 :
  • At Khwai Lediba, you’ll have access to an array of thrilling activities such as morning, afternoon, and night game drives, as well as walking and mokoro safaris (depending on water levels), allowing you to get up close and personal with the incredible wildlife of the region. As part of the African Bush Camps Foundation’s community empowerment projects, you’ll also have the chance to visit the nearby Khwai village preschool and witness the positive impact of purpose-led travel firsthand.
