Note: You fly into Belize City and have the option to have the hotel pick you up and drive you to the resort or you can take a quick flight or rent a car and drive yourself. This is an additional cost and we can arrange it for you. All activities can be booked ahead of time through the hotel, which we can do for you or you can do when you get there.
Itinerary
DAY 1
Day 1 :
Upon arrival at Belize City International airport you’ll make your way via flight, car service or car rental to your hotel. After a speedy check-in and tour, you will be shown to your room. Take the rest of the day and evening to relax or take a kayaking tour to see the Manatees in the afternoon. This hotel and trip are more of a relaxed and do nothing vacation But there are plenty of activities to explore as well.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
Indulge in a big breakfast and relax in the morning sun. Take a stroll down the long beautiful stretch of beach and maybe go for a dip in the ocean or just lay around in one of the many Hammocks along the water's edge. Take the afternoon to indulge in the spa. This hotel has without a doubt the best spa in all of Belize. Enjoy the grounds and facilities. Take an Ariel yoga class, use the gym or just lay by their private pool and soak in the surroundings. Get dressed up and enjoy one of the best meals you’ll have in Belize.
DAY 3
Day 3 :
After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy the last plunge and swim in the ocean. From here you will be driven to the dock and taken to the island on a small boat. After meeting your concierge and other personnel on the island you’ll be given a tour. Spend the rest of the day settling in and watching the sunset from the deck. And if you’re feeling adventurous spend some time on the 20ft dock waterslide.
DAY 4
Day 4 :
Wake up to the sound of the ocean and head out to the restaurant to have your breakfast. Do nothing all day! Or…snorkel, fish, kayak, jet ski, scuba dive or sit around and enjoy fresh fruit and other snacks from the extensive menu. Who knew you’d have this many eating options on an island! Get surprised to find out that you have full high-speed internet access to upload all your pictures and make WIFI phone calls…but we recommend doing as little as possible.
DAY 5
Day 5 :
Get up early, eat breakfast and hop on a boat to snorkel at some of the most renowned diving spots in the world. Visit a few deserted islands and chase the dolphins. You’ll likely see a lot of them. By the end of the day, you’ll be exhausted so relaxing back on the island will feel like heaven.
DAY 6
Day 6 :
After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy the last plunge and swim in the ocean before taking your boat back to the mainland. From there you’ll be driven into the jungle and to the resort. Eat at the restaurant, visit the gardens or sit by the pool. Take the rest of the day to relax.
DAY 7
Day 7 :
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast, try an off-site tour of the ancient Mayan temples or a canoeing tour of the Mayan caves. Head back to the resort and lounge around some more at the river and waterfalls. After diner, you’ll have the treat of spending time with one of the local magicians enjoying his many amazing cards and hand tricks.
DAY 8
Day 8 :
After breakfast, you’ll get a private tour of the butterfly sanctuary and learn from the owner about the conservation of wildlife that he has dedicated his life to. Follow that with a little bit of zip lining through the jungle. Listen to the Howler monkeys as you fly through the trees. Back at the resort take a short hike to a 100ft waterfall. Lounge around and swim in its many pools before heading back for dinner. Sit around the campfire and stare at the stars.
DAY 9
Day 9 :
After a light breakfast, you’ll head back to the airport for your flight home.

A: Belize has two distinct wet and dry seasons. The dry season typically occurs December through May and the wet season June through November. In the tropics, rain can occur any time of year, but during the dry season rain falls in brief bursts.

A: Belize is a safe country. The big cities have crime like any other city but the resorts we work with are very safe.

Horseback Riding - Gaia
Explore the trails with your newest companion who’s rearing and ready to go. Horseback riding is excellent for riders of all ages and experience levels. Your horse is already familiar with the jungle trails that she’ll take you through so just hold tight and look forward to the ride. You’ll cross two creeks so your horse can stop and take a drink and enter a clearing where you can walk, trot, or canter – whatever your preference may be.
Cave Tubing - Gaia
This tour begins with a 10-minute drive up the scenic Hummingbird Highway to the Blue Hole National Park. Your guide will lead you through a 10-minute hike through the jungle to the entrance of St. Herman’s Cave. Enter the exciting world of rivers disappearing into the underworld as you float on inner tubes with only your headlamp to light your way. Enjoy floating past side windows that filter the jungle light through the mist as you swirl around stalagmites jutting from the river and stalactites looming from above.
Guided Mountain Biking - Gaia
There’s no better way to explore the diverse ecosystems of the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve than a bike tour. Guided bike trips will take you on scenic routes and trails around the Reserve. Check with the Concierge to discuss departure times, difficulty, terrain, and desired length of trip.
