Itinerary
DAY 1
Day 1 :
Upon arrival at Belize City International airport you’ll make your way via flight or car service to the dock. From here you will be driven to the dock and taken to the island on a small boat. After meeting your concierge and other personnel on the island you’ll be given a tour. Spend the rest of the day settling in and watch the sunset from the deck. And if you’re feeling adventurous spend some time on the 20ft dock waterslide.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
Wake up to the sound of the ocean and head out to the restaurant to have your breakfast. Do nothing all day! Or…snorkel, fish, kayak, jet ski, scuba dive or sit around and enjoy fresh fruit and other snacks from the extensive menu. Who knew you’d have this many eating options on an island! Get surprised to find out that you have full high speed internet access to upload all your pictures and make WIFI phone calls…but we recommend doing as little as possible.
DAY 3
Day 3 :
Ok, let’s mix things up and head out into the ocean to chase and swim with dolphins and nurse sharks, find amazing reefs to swim, deserted islands to explore and maybe a little fishing to catch your dinner. Return back to the island to have private dinner as you watch the sunset, overlooking the ocean followed by a campfire.
DAY 4
Day 4 :
After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy a last plunge and swim in the ocean before taking your boat back to the mainland. From there you’ll be driven into the jungle and to the resort. Eat at the restaurant, visit the gardens or sit by the pool. Take the rest of the day to relax .
DAY 5
Day 5 :
Wake up early and enjoy a farm to table breakfast, followed by a hike to the private on-site caves to learn about the ancient Mayan cultures of Belize. After lunch you’ll have your choice of zip-lining, repelling or exploring the local waterfalls and caves by kayak. Spend the rest of the day at the pool or indulge yourself in a spa treatment.
DAY 6
Day 6 :
After breakfast you will venture off property with your private guide to the Mayan ruins with the optional stop to visit an orphanage to meet the children of Belize. We highly encourage this experience and found that it sheds light and perspective into some of the issues that the Belize people face. The experience for us was extremely uplifting and the kids were so wonderful. Spend the rest of the afternoon on property and enjoy the sunset from the outside deck of the restaurant as you enjoy dinner and wine.
DAY 7
Day 7 :
After a light breakfast you’ll experience an early morning horseback ride through the property. Sit by the pool until it’s time to leave for the airport.
