Note: You fly into Belize City and have the option to have the hotel pick you up and drive you to the resort or you can take a quick flight or rent a car and drive yourself. Itinerary
DAY 1
Day 1 :
Upon arrival at Belize City International airport you’ll make your way via flight, car service or car rental to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink and speedy check-in before being given a quick tour and shown to your room. On this trip, you’ll visit two of the three properties that film director Francis Ford Coppola owns in Belize. they spared no expense in making the entire experience world-class. Make friends with their adopted dog Chip who roams the property searching for love and affection. Relax at the oceanfront bar for the rest of the day or take a dip in the clear blue sea.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
After breakfast, you’ll hop onto one of their many boats from their private docks and spend the day at some of the best snorkeling spots in the world where you’ll see turtles, nurse sharks, dolphins, and a plethora of colorful fish and visit a couple of deserted islands. Back at the resort get dressed up for dinner and enjoy some of the world-famous Coppola wines that they’ve imported from their Northern California wineries.
DAY 3
Day 3 :
Today and any day actually you’ll take your breakfast in your room. Have a car take you into town for some local shopping and food. Meet the beautiful and friendly locals of Belize or float down the river on inner tubes, lounge by the pool and maybe get a massage overlooking the river. Eat dinner at the oceanfront bar and try their pizza. It’s amazing and probably the best in all of Belize.
DAY 4
Day 4 :
Wake up early, eat breakfast and enjoy the property and pool until it’s time to leave for the jungle resort. You also have the option to fly privately to their small airstrip just steps away from the resort. Enjoy a welcome drink and speedy check-in before being given a quick tour and shown to your room. Be prepared for one of the greatest travel destinations you’ll have ever been to. At least this is how it was for us…And we’ve been everywhere. Relax for the rest of the day and enjoy the river and views from your room and deck.
DAY 5
Day 5 :
Time to shake things up and explore some outside activities. You’ll head out to Canoe through caves and zip line through the jungles listening to the Howler Monkeys. Heading back to the resort in the afternoon you’ll get ready for one of the best dining experiences you’ll ever have. Walking over to the massive private gardens you’ll spend time walking through with your chef picking out the food he will be preparing for you. Back at the kitchen and dining area that overlooks the garden, you’ll be served wine and hors d’oeuvres while your meal is being prepared. Dinner is served and you’re overlooking the gardens as the sun goes down. The food and service are to die for. Finish off the experience sitting by the fire with desert.
DAY 6
Day 6 :
Breakfast in bed or on the deck to take in the morning sun before you head up to the stables to ride horses. These are not your average trail horses. They are animals that have been cared for at a whole other level. Mount up and head into the jungle and 30 minutes later you’ll be emerging through a clearing to see an amazing waterfall. Spend as much time as you want swimming in the many pools or lounge on the rocks soaking up the sun. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or if you’re feeling really adventurous put on your beekeeping suit and harvest honey on the property or venture off property to visit the butterfly sanctuary and talk with the owner who’s now dedicating his life to animal conservation. Sit by the fire and do some star gazing on your last night here in Belize.
