Belize
Day 1 :
  • Upon arrival at Belize City International airport, you’ll make your way to your next short flight to Placencia. From there you will be taken to the resort. Enjoy a welcome drink and speedy check-in before being given a quick tour and shown to your room. On this trip, you’ll visit two of the three properties that film director Francis Ford Coppola owns in Belize. they spared no expense in making the entire experience world-class. Make friends with their adopted dog Chip who roams the property searching for love and affection. Relax at the oceanfront bar for the rest of the day or take a dip in the clear blue sea.
Day 2 :
  • Indulge in a big breakfast and soak up the morning sun. Take the day to relax and explore the property. Enjoy the spacious and beautifully designed rooms and maybe get a massage. Eat lunch at the oceanfront bar and try their pizza. It’s amazing and probably the best in all of Belize. Get dressed up for dinner and enjoy some of the world-famous Coppola wines that they’ve imported from their Northern California wineries.
Day 3 :
  • Today and any day actually you’ll take your breakfast in your room. Have a car take you into town for some local shopping and food. Meet the beautiful and friendly locals of Belize. Maybe head out onto the boat for some fishing, scuba diving, or to explore some of the small deserted islands. Back to the resort in the late afternoon to relax before more wine and dinner at their high-end beach restaurant.
Day 4 :
  • After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy the last plunge and swim in the ocean. From here you will be driven to the dock and taken to the island on a small boat. After meeting your concierge and other personnel on the island you’ll be given a tour. Spend the rest of the day settling in and watching the sunset from the deck. And if you’re feeling adventurous spend some time on the 20ft dock waterslide.
Day 5 :
  • Wake up to the sound of the ocean and head out to the restaurant to have your breakfast. Do nothing all day! Or…snorkel, fish, kayak, jet ski, scuba dive or sit around and enjoy fresh fruit and other snacks from the extensive menu. Who knew you’d have this many eating options on an island!
Day 6 :
  • Ok, let’s mix things up and head out into the ocean to chase and swim with dolphins and nurse sharks, find amazing reefs to swim, deserted islands to explore, and maybe a little fishing to catch your dinner. Return back to the island to have a private dinner as you watch the sunset, overlooking the ocean followed by a campfire.
Day 7 :
  • After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy the last plunge and swim in the ocean before taking your boat back to the mainland. From there you’ll be driven into the jungle and to the resort. You also have the option to fly privately to their small airstrip just steps away from the resort. Enjoy a welcome drink and speedy check-in before being given a quick tour and shown to your room. Be prepared for one of the greatest travel destinations you’ll have ever been to. At least this is how it was for us…And we’ve been everywhere. Relax for the rest of the day and enjoy the river and views from your room and deck.
Day 8 :
  • Wake up early and enjoy a farm-to-table breakfast as they grow everything from their massive garden. Today we’ll take it easy and enjoy the property. Float down the river on inner tubes, lounge by the pool, and maybe get a massage overlooking the river. Have dinner, enjoy wine and sit by a fire.
Day 9 :
  • Time to shake things up and explore some outside activities. You’ll can head out to canoe through caves and zip line through the jungles listening to the Howler monkeys. Heading back to the resort in the afternoon you’ll get ready for one of the best dining experiences you’ll ever have. Walking over to the massive private gardens you’ll spend time walking through with your chef picking out the food he will be preparing for you. Back at the kitchen and dining area that overlooks the garden, you’ll be served wine and hors d’oeuvres while your meal is being prepared. Dinner is served and you’re overlooking the gardens as the sun goes down. The food and service are to die for. Finish off the experience sitting by the fire with desert.
Day 10 :
  • Breakfast in bed or on the deck to take in the morning sun before you head up to the stables to ride horses. These are not your average trail horses. They are animals that have been cared for at a whole other level. Mount up and head into the jungle and 30 minutes later you’ll be emerging through a clearing to see an amazing waterfall. Spend as much time as you want swimming in the many pools or lounge on the rocks soaking up the sun. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or if you’re feeling really adventurous put on your beekeeping suit and harvest some honey on the property or venture off property to visit the butterfly sanctuary and talk with the owner who’s now dedicating his life to animal conservation. Sit by the fire and do some star gazing on your last night here in Belize.
Day 11 :
  • After a light breakfast, you can sit by the pool until it’s time to leave for the airport.

Q: What is the best time of year to go?
A: Belize has two distinct wet and dry seasons. The dry season typically occurs December through May and the wet season June through November. In the tropics, rain can occur any time of year, but during the dry season rain falls in brief bursts.
Q: Is Belize safe?
A: Belize is a safe country. The big cities have crime like any other city but the resorts we work with are very safe.
Q: Do they speak good English in Belize?
A: Funny enough, English is their first language. Many people speak Spanish but English is the primary.
Q: Are mosquitos a problem?
A: There are mosquitos in the jungle areas. The hotels generally have a good supply of bug spray to offer but it might be good to bring some.
