Itinerary
DAY 1
Day 1 :
Upon arrival at Belize City International airport you’ll make your way via flight, car service or car rental to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink before you are shown to your room. Head out to the overwater cabana and bar to have a drink and watch the sunset. Swing from the rope and have a swim.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
Indulge in a big breakfast and relax in the morning sun. Take a stroll through town on an electric bike, swim in the ocean, kayak, or go for a sail on one of the Hobie cats. I think the staff here might actually be the happiest people on earth. They will make your stay an absolute pleasure. Maybe get yourself a spa treatment. Also, you’ll have plenty of Iguana sightings as they roam around the property all day long. Have dinner at the beach restaurant to close out the evening.
DAY 3
Day 3 :
After breakfast maybe hop on a boat and spend the day at some of the best snorkeling spots in the world. And chances are you’ll see plenty of dolphins along the way. Back to the hotel in the late afternoon to relax before an amazing dinner.
DAY 4
Day 4 :
After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy the last plunge and swim in the ocean. From here you will be driven to the dock and taken to the island on a small boat. After meeting your concierge and other personnel on the island you’ll be given a tour. Spend the rest of the day settling in and watching the sunset from the deck. And if you’re feeling adventurous spend some time on the 20ft dock waterslide.
DAY 5
Day 5 :
Wake up to the sound of the ocean and head out to the restaurant to have your breakfast. Do nothing all day! Or…snorkel, fish, kayak, jet ski, scuba dive or sit around and enjoy fresh fruit and other snacks from the extensive menu. Who knew you’d have this many eating options on an island!
DAY 6
Day 6 :
Ok, let’s mix things up and head out into the ocean to chase and swim with dolphins and nurse sharks, find amazing reefs to swim, deserted islands to explore, and maybe a little fishing to catch your dinner. Return back to the island to have a private dinner as you watch the sunset, overlooking the ocean followed by a campfire.
DAY 7
Day 7 :
After waking and eating breakfast, enjoy the last plunge and swim in the ocean before taking your boat back to the mainland. From there you’ll be driven into the jungle and to the resort. Eat at the restaurant, visit the gardens or sit by the pool. Take the rest of the day to relax.
DAY 8
Day 8 :
Wake up early and enjoy a farm-to-table breakfast, followed by a hike to the private on-site caves to learn about the ancient Mayan cultures of Belize. DAY 10
Day 10 :
After breakfast, you will venture off the property with your private guide to the Mayan ruins with the optional stop to visit an orphanage to meet the children of Belize. We highly encourage this experience and found that it sheds light and perspective on some of the issues that the Belize people face. This experience for us was extremely uplifting and the kids were so wonderful. Spend the rest of the afternoon on property and enjoy the sunset from the outside deck of the restaurant as you enjoy some dinner and wine.
