Q; Do I have to stick with the itinerary?
A: No, this is just a suggested itinerary. You are free to take any route you like.
Q: When is the best time to see the northern lights?
A: The northern lights are most active in colder weather so it's more likely you'll see them in the winter, spring and fall.
Q: What kind of clothing should we bring?
A: Depending on the season but we recommend warm cloths and layers as opposed to heavy clothing. You may be doing a lot of walking and hiking in nature and you can get warm quickly so it would be better to be able to shed layers. Hats and gloves are recommended along with good sunglasses and sunscreen. The snow can make the sun rays powerful. Also bring good hiking boots and an extra pair of shoes. A small backpack for hiking is suggested.
Q: I heard Iceland is expensive. Is this true?
A: certain elements of the trip can be expensive as many things are imported. Hotels and accommodations tend to be reasonable but food and gas can get pricey.
Q: Do we need a reservation for the Blue Lagoon?
A: We recommend getting one well in advance.
Q: What is the best time of year to go?
A: It's a year round destination and always amazing but we would avoid the middle of winter(November through February)
