DAY 1

Day 1 :

Upon arrival, there will be a driver with signage displaying your name. Meet your driver at the arrival gate at Split airport after you collect your luggage and pass customs. Transfer to your hotel in Split is approximately 20 minutes long, depending on the traffic. Split is a stunning 1700-year-old city home to unique historical monuments, including Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Peristil, St. Doimus's Cathedral, and the Piazza. The City of Split has something for everyone, whether you prefer culture, fine arts, songs, music, sports, or recreation. Split also has its wild, natural side, enchanting its many visitors daily. The Marjan Forest Park, known as the city's " lungs”, proudly guards the urban center. The entire Marjan Peninsula is dotted with black pine trees, Mediterranean plants and herbs, centuries-old churches, and some of the country’s most beautiful beaches.

DAY 2

Day 2 :

Meet your guide in the lobby. Your licensed tour guide will take you for a walk through the center of Split. They will show you one layer of history after another, from pre-Roman times up until today. They will also give you insights into the local culture and rich heritage. Your day will start with exploring the core of Split and its essential historical highlights. Then you will proceed to the next layer to learn more about what food means to the locals. Whether you are an adventure traveler, wine lover, or simply someone who enjoys the history of a foreign country, there is no more delicious way to get a taste for a place than by taking culinary-themed tours. In 2013, UNESCO wrote a definition of the Mediterranean diet and explained why it was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible. For every Dalmatian, there is only one topic they really want to discuss in the morning – what’s for lunch? To blend in, you will do the same thing that locals do. Take an easy walk from the green market to the fish market to get fresh food and inspiration for the next meal. After a nice walk through the city center, the real excitement for all the foodies begins. The local chef is waiting for you in her kitchen to teach you how to process, cook, conserve, serve, and consume your meal. Pairing your meal with local wine is obligatory. You will enjoy this memorable experience close to the center of town but away from the crowds. This tour is planned and designed for true travelers and foodies, who, after the tour, realize that deep down, they are already Dalmatians.

DAY 3

Day 3 :

Meet your driver at the lobby and depart for a truffle hunting experience. This experience will take you to natural sights in the Split hinterland area. After a 45-minute transfer, you will arrive in the hinterland of Split, where you will meet your host. Join professional truffle hunters and the first family who started a truffle hunting experience in Dalmatia. You will explore locations that are hidden throughout the Dalmatian forests and experience the excitement of truffle hunting amidst the beautiful natural resources in the heart of Dalmatia. With your hosts and their specially-trained truffle-hunting dogs, you will join the hunt and uncover your first truffle! When you reach the secret locations, they will teach you everything there is to know about truffles and how to hunt them. You will also hear the story about their lovely specially trained dogs. Depending on the season of your visit, you’ll find the black truffle; Tuber aestivum, Tuber uncinatum, Tuber brumale, Tuber melanosporum, and the white truffle Tuber borchii-bianchetto, Tuber Magnatum Pico etc. To celebrate your successful hunt, relax in the beautiful forest setting while they prepare a gourmet meal featuring local wine, truffle brandy, and of course, the truffles! The lunch is in three courses, and you will be able to join the chef and learn how to cook with truffles. The aim of this experience is to promote Dalmatian truffles and to raise awareness of the natural resources of Dalmatia, which is home to very valuable types of truffles.

DAY 4

Day 4 :

After breakfast, you will meet your crew at the hotel lobby and head to Split port, where you will board a private speed boat to Brac island. Today, you will explore the island and its attractions, with Dol village and Gospodnetic family being the main point of the visit. You will also visit Skrip village and an Olive Oil Museum there. Dol is a small island village that visitors adore for its beauty and traditional style, which can transport you back in time. With only 100 inhabitants, the village has maintained its authenticity, and tourism has not spoiled its charm. During the one-hour-long tour through the village, the locals will share stories about their everyday life, tell you fascinating tales from their past, and show you their favorite places. The village is hilly, but we will visit a few beautiful spots with a view, talk about legends and monsters, and learn about the sheep that people from this village own. We will also visit their home, a 400-year-old castle where they live and work with their family. You will have the opportunity to tour the house and try some local sheep cheese and wine that they grow and make on their farm. You will also learn how to make HRAPACUSA, the traditional cake. After the Hropacusa workshop, we will drive to the small village of Skrip. There, you will have the chance to taste some of the best Olive oils from the island and enjoy lunch. Later, we will drive up to the highest peak of all islands, Vidova Gora. From there, you can admire the view of the middle Dalmatian islands. We will then drive back to the port and board the private speed boat to continue to Hvar, where you will arrive in the late afternoon.

DAY 5

Day 5 :

Hvar Island is a stunning island situated off the Dalmatian Coast, resting between the islands of Brač, Vis, and Korčula. The island has been inhabited since ancient times and is rich in archaeological remains that bear witness to the island's diverse and fascinating history. Hvar has had a range of inhabitants over the years, including Illyrians, Greeks, Romans, and French, and their influence can still be seen in the island's cultural and material heritage. In addition to its cultural legacy, Hvar is also famous for its amazing weather and breathtaking natural beauty. The island is home to friendly locals, picturesque beaches and bays, and untouched nature that will leave you spellbound. On this tour, you'll explore traditional villages, learn about the history of lavender production on Hvar Island, taste some of the best olive oils, and experience the magic of an authentic ancient Hvar household. During your visit, you'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch at a 200-year-old household, where you'll meet your local host and learn about the traditions of island life. After lunch, you'll head to a local wine producer for a final tasting before returning to Hvar. The tour lasts between 6-8 hours.

DAY 6

Day 6 :

Today, you will meet your driver at the hotel and depart from Hvar for Dubrovnik, also known as the pearl of the Adriatic. The drive will take you along the beautiful Hvar island, from its west to the furthest east point - the small ferry port, Sućuraj. The drive is approximately 1.5 hours long, followed by a 30-minute ferry ride. After an hour's drive from the port, you will stop on the Peljesac peninsula. This place is a paradise of seashells, especially oysters, which are well-known for their aphrodisiac properties. You will get to visit a local oyster producer, learn about oyster growing, and taste some of the best oysters in Europe. A locally prepared light lunch will be provided for you to enjoy. You will also have the opportunity to stop in Ston and take a walk before you proceed to Dubrovnik, which is another hour's drive away. Ston is a beautiful Medieval town with a rich history that dates back to the 14th century. It has the longest stone wall in Europe (5.5 km), narrow and quiet streets, ancient noble houses, and traces of ancient cultures. The town was once known for its salt production and the oldest active salt-works worldwide can still be found here. The saltworks have preserved the tradition and the natural way of salt production that has remained unchanged for centuries.

DAY 7

Day 7 :

Meet your guide in the lobby and depart to explore the Dubrovnik hinterland. You will leave busy Dubrovnik behind and discover Konavle, a region that still proudly lives its tradition. We will take you on a journey where you will learn more about the fascinating history of this region that has been shaped by the influence of the Eastern (Ottomans) and the Western world (Venetian & Dubrovnik Republic) throughout history. This story is about women and the community finding their voice and unique expression through embroidery. The art of silk production has been passed down among women from generation to generation as part of their regional identity and a family tradition. Each family in Konavle had its own nest of silkworms, and they would extract silk threads and color them with natural dyes such as red, black, dark green, and gold. At the young age of six, they would begin to embroider their first practice pieces. By marriage, a woman had to prepare all her embroideries for all events that her life would bring, including ceremonies, work, her wedding, happiness and sadness, and burial. Embroidery was her only accessory and identity card for a long time. In the afternoon, experience the beauty and wonder of Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic, on a guided city tour.
