Experience 9-nights in the heartbeat of Botswana at our signature and icon camps. You’re in for the safari of a lifetime, and the best part is, you get to make memories with the people closest to you. Our Luxury Okavango safari is ideal for couples and families interested in experiencing the majestic Okavango Delta, the heartbeat of Botswana and the world’s largest wetland. The delta is home to a diverse ecosystem that has been created as the Okavango River flows into the Kalahari Desert and is a World Heritage Site.

Itinerary

DAY 1
Day 1 :
  • Arrival in Maun Arrive in Maun, Botswana, and transfer to your luxury accommodation. Spend the afternoon relaxing and exploring the surroundings. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the lodge, where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
  • Explore Maun and Surroundings Take a guided tour of Maun, visiting local markets and cultural sites. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta to get a bird's eye view of the landscape.
DAY 3
Day 3 :
  • Transfer to Okavango Delta After breakfast, transfer to the Okavango Delta by boat or vehicle, depending on the location of your camp. Arrive at your luxury camp and settle in. Enjoy a sunset game drive or boat cruise to start your safari experience.
DAY 4
Day 4 :
  • Safari Activities Spend the day on safari, with morning and afternoon game drives or bush walks. Encounter a variety of wildlife and bird species, and enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush.
DAY 5
Day 5 :
  • Cultural Experience Visit a local village to learn about the traditional way of life in the delta. Participate in cultural activities and interact with the local community.
DAY 6
Day 6 :
  • Relaxation and Spa Take a break from safari activities and indulge in a spa day at the camp. Enjoy massages and treatments using natural ingredients found in the delta.
DAY 7
Day 7 :
  • Wildlife Conservation Experience Visit a wildlife conservation project in the delta to learn about efforts to protect endangered species. Take part in conservation activities such as tracking animals or planting trees.
DAY 8
Day 8 :
  • Birdwatching Excursion Join a birdwatching guide for a morning boat cruise or walk to spot some of the delta's 400 bird species. Learn about the importance of the delta for bird migration.
DAY 9
Day 9 :
  • Adventure Activities Choose from optional adventure activities such as fishing, canoeing, or horseback riding in the delta. Spend your last day exploring the wilderness in a different way.
DAY 10
Day 10 :
  • Departure Transfer back to Maun for your departure, taking with you memories of your luxury safari in the Okavango Delta.
