Trip Summary

There is nothing like a long weekend in Paris!! My mama and I embarked on a mother/daughter trip around Europe and Paris was stop #1 (of course). Paris is the perfect place to be jet-lagged because it’s the most beautiful city to explore in the early mornings. To me, Paris is about seeing the sights, eating delicious food, and shopping, duh! So that’s all I do when I’m in town :). We stayed in the beautiful Hotel Splendid Etoille in their suite which gave us incredible views of the Arc De Triomphe. Paris is the perfect city to get lost in. I love walking around pretty much any neighborhood and stumbling into cute shops along the way. You’d be amazed with the incredible (and affordable) shopping you can do in Paris!

Itinerary

DAY 1
Day 1 :
  • Arrival and Le Marais Exploration Morning: Arrive in Paris and check into the Hotel Splendid Etoile. Freshen up and head to Ladurée for a luxurious breakfast with the finest French pastries and macarons. Afternoon: Explore the trendy boutiques and vintage shops in Le Marais. Lunch at L'Entrecote to enjoy their famous steak frites. Evening: Take an early evening stroll through the historic streets of Le Marais. Dinner at Pink Mama for authentic Italian in a vibrant setting.
DAY 2
Day 2 :
  • Iconic Cafés and Rue de Buci Morning: Start with coffee and pastries at Café de Flore, a prime spot for influencer watching and soaking up the Parisian atmosphere. Afternoon: Wander down Rue de Buci, your favorite street, and indulge in buttery pastries from Boulangerie 28 Beaumarchais. Continue exploring the nearby streets and shops. Evening: Enjoy an early dinner at Au Petit Fer à Cheval, savoring their amazing French onion soup. Take a leisurely walk along the Seine as the city lights up.

  • Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur Morning: Visit Montmartre in the morning light, climbing up to the Sacré-Cœur for breathtaking city views. Afternoon: Lunch at a local Montmartre bistro. Spend your afternoon browsing the artists' square, Place du Tertre. Evening: Dinner at a Montmartre restaurant with views of the glittering city below. Return to your hotel or enjoy the Montmartre night scene.
DAY 5
Day 5 :
  • Louvre and Luxurious Shopping Morning: Early visit to the Louvre to beat the crowds. Marvel at the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and other masterpieces. Afternoon: Shopping spree along the Champs-Élysées, visiting flagship stores and luxury boutiques. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a café.   • Day Trip Option or Parisian Leisure Morning & Afternoon: Option for a day trip to Versailles or Giverny to see Monet’s gardens. Evening: Farewell dinner at a restaurant of your choice, perhaps a return to one of your favorites mentioned or a new culinary adventure in Paris.

  • Departure Morning: Enjoy a final stroll or café visit in Paris. Check out from the Hotel Splendid Etoile and depart for home, filled with memories of delicious meals and beautiful sights.
