Day 1 :
  • Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo - Start your journey in Los Angeles, heading north on the scenic Highway 101 towards San Luis Obispo. Enjoy the coastal views and charming towns along the way. Upon arrival in San Luis Obispo, check into your hotel and take some time to explore the historic downtown area. Visit the famous Bubblegum Alley, stroll through Mission Plaza, and dine at one of the local farm-to-table restaurants.
Day 2 :
  • San Luis Obispo to Carmel - Depart San Luis Obispo and continue your drive up the coast to Carmel-by-the-Sea. This picturesque town is known for its fairytale cottages and beautiful beaches. After checking into your accommodation, explore the charming shops and art galleries in downtown Carmel. Spend the afternoon relaxing on Carmel Beach, and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the town’s renowned restaurants.
Day 3 :
  • Carmel to Mendocino - Leave Carmel and drive north along the stunning Pacific Coast Highway, passing through Big Sur and its breathtaking vistas. Continue your journey to Mendocino, a quaint coastal village with dramatic cliffs and ocean views. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take a leisurely walk through the town’s historic district. Day 4 :
  • Mendocino to San Francisco - Start your day with a scenic drive from Mendocino to San Francisco. As you approach the city, enjoy views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Check into your hotel in San Francisco and spend the afternoon exploring Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and the bustling Embarcadero.   • San Francisco Exploration - Dedicate this day to exploring San Francisco’s diverse neighborhoods and attractions. Start with a visit to the historic Alamo Square to see the Painted Ladies. Then head to the vibrant Mission District for its colorful murals and delicious food. Spend the afternoon in Golden Gate Park, visiting the California Academy of Sciences or the Japanese Tea Garden. End your day with a sunset view from Twin Peaks.
Day 6 :
  • San Francisco to Los Angeles - After breakfast, begin your journey back to Los Angeles. Take a different route to experience more of California’s diverse landscapes. Arrive in Los Angeles, check into your hotel, and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 7 :

Q: Do I have to stick to the itinerary?
A: You're free to do what you want and go at your own pace, however your hotel reservations will be strict and hard to shuffle around. These itineraries have you seeing and doing a lot. If you prefer to take your time a little more. Contact us to custom build this trip. These itineraries are for the active and adventurous traveler.
Q: How do I book activities?
A: Some of them you will be able to book with us and others are first come, first serve as they are smaller vendors. After you book Your detailed itinerary will have all that information.
Q: How much driving each day will I do?
A: We estimate 3-5 hours of straight driving as you head to a new destination. Assuming you'll stop along the way and see things it could be longer. We suggest getting an early start each day. After you book, your detailed itinerary will have all that information, including times to start your day etc.
Q: What is the best time of year to do these trips?
A: April - October is best. Many of the destinations are at higher elevations so there might be snow along the mountain passes. July and August can be very hot in some parts of these trips so keep that in mind as well.
Q: What sort of clothing do we need?
A: Because you are going to high and low elevations it would be good to pack for both warm and cold weather. Good hiking shoes for sure and an extra pair in case they get wet. Comfortable clothing and layers is best. Maybe bring one nice outfit if you're going to go somewhere nice in one of the locations.
Q: What else might we need to think about bringing?
A: Bring extra water containers to keep in the car, bug spray and sunscreen. Also a good pair of sunglasses.
