Day 1 :
- Arrival and Exploration of Gatlinburg Morning/Afternoon: Check into Margaritaville in Gatlinburg. Spend some time exploring the resort and settling in. Explore Downtown Gatlinburg: Walk along the Parkway, the main street in Gatlinburg, and visit local shops and attractions. Visit Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies: A must-see attraction, home to a wide variety of marine life. Dinner: Enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants downtown. Options range from casual to fine dining, offering something for every palate. Evening: Take a stroll through The Village Shops, a quaint European-themed shopping area, or try the Gatlinburg SkyLift for a beautiful night view of the city.
Day 2 :
- Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Pigeon Forge Morning: Head to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hike one of the many trails like the Laurel Falls Trail or Clingmans Dome for breathtaking views. Lunch: Pack a picnic to enjoy in the park, or visit a café in Gatlinburg. Afternoon: Drive to Pigeon Forge and visit Dollywood, Dolly Parton’s famous Appalachian-themed park, for thrilling rides and entertaining shows. Dinner: Dine at one of Pigeon Forge’s popular restaurants, offering everything from southern comfort food to international cuisine. Evening: Explore The Island in Pigeon Forge, a shopping and entertainment complex with a range of attractions, including The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel.
Day 3 :
- Relaxation and Departure Morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Margaritaville’s on-site restaurant. Visit the Anakeesta: Spend your morning at this outdoor amusement park in Gatlinburg with zip lines, a scenic chairlift, and beautiful gardens. Lunch: Have lunch back in Gatlinburg or at the resort. Afternoon Relaxation: Spend your last afternoon relaxing at Margaritaville, perhaps enjoying the hotel pool or spa services. Departure: Check out of Margaritaville and depart for home.
